Today's (6 Dec 2014) IBPS Clerk Exam Evening/Afternoon Shift Questions

An Analysis The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducted online examination, for the recruitment of Personnel in Clerical Cadre in the 21 Nationalized Banks, across the country on the 6th December, 2014. There were 200 questions in the paper, which had to be answered in 120 minutes. There were five sections in all - Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English Language and Computer Knowledge. Other than the fourth section, where in a candidate had to attempt the section in English Language, all the other sections were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. Each question had 5 options. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for all the sections. Overall the examination was Easy. The questions in Numerical Ability was bit lengthy and Time consuming. That’s exactly the point where results might make a difference. English and Computer Knowledge sections were easy. General awareness section was moderate and was dominated by Banking Questions. The pattern of test was as follows: Section Total Questions Max. The pattern was on the lines with the previous exams conducted in the Clerical Cadre. There was no question from Non-Verbal Reasoning just as IBPS PO-IV Exam. Sitting Arrangement and Puzzles were time consuming. The details of the section are as follows: Topic Number of Questions Syllogism 5 Data Sufficiency 5 Sitting Arrangement 10 Puzzle 5 Coded Inequalities 5 Miscellaneous 10 English Language The questions in this section were fairly easy thereby making students, who feel it difficult to score in this section, breathe a sigh of relief. The details of the section are as follows: Topic Number of Questions Reading Comprehensions 10 Rearrangement 5 Cloze test 10 Error Spotting 5 Phrases 5 Fill in the blanks 5 Numerical Ability DI in this section was, IBPS took most of the students by surprise. Though the questions in DI were easy enough, there were a few questions in this section that were time consuming. There were 10 questions on simplification which were tedious. The details of the section are as follows: Topic Section Number Series 5 Data Interpretation(Pie-Chart, Table) 5 Simplification 10 Arithmetic (Profit Loss, Time & work, Percentage, Age, etc. 15-20 General Awareness This section was of "Super Easy" as compared to the other sections. Banking and Economy dominated this section. Questions in Current Affairs were asked from International affairs as well as Indian Economy Questions related to RBI were given a special attention. Questions on CURRENCY Capital UN Census Venue Sports Headquarters Abbreviations Awards According to our BA Readers, our Capsule proved to be a super success. Computer Knowledge This section was based on basic knowledge of computers. Questions were very easy. The main areas from which questions were asked are: MS Office, Application Software, Hardware, Software, and Input-Output Units. Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki Movie Review Naga Shaurya is a busy bee in Tollywood at the moment. We have recently seen him in successful low budget films like Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya and Oohalu Gusagusalade. His latest film Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki has Avika as the female lead. What is it about? Sai (Naga Shaurya) falls in love with Lakshmi (Avika) who is already engaged to another guy. Sai doesn't give up on her even after he knows about her engagement. He tries to get close to her by impressing her father. But her father throws Sai out of their house after he comes to know about Sai's true colors. Sai has to do something to impress Lakshmi before it is too late. Performances: Naga Shaurya's growing confidence can be seen in the portrayal of Sai. This character is bit different from what he usually plays. He got into the skin of the character and just lived it on the screen. He is definitely an asset to this film. So is Avika. Thanks to her immense following among the Television audience, Avika plays pivotal role in getting decent opening for this film. She is a pretty decent actress too. She did well in the emotional scenes. Rao Ramesh does a Prakash Raj in this. He is believable. Vennela Kishore's Software Engineer role is funny at times. Sapthagiri does the usual stuff. Vidya did an important role and she is alright. Naresh and Pavitra are natural as Shaurya's parents. On the Technical Front: Writer turned director Nandyala Ravi proves his strength as a writer. His dialogues are the biggest asset to this film. But he has relied too much on dialogues and didn't concentrate upon the script. This half baked script never engages the audience at any point. Director's failure is evident throughout the film. He failed to handle the romance track between the lead pair in a convincing way. Soundtrack composed by KM Radha Krishna is good. Same cannot be said about the background music. Cinematography is decent. Editing is too bad. There are far too many disjointed scenes in this film. Production values are fine.

Meyer Release Date: 2014-12-05. Chakkiligintha Movie Review Sukumar's protege Vema Reddy made his directorial debut with Chakkiligintha starring Sumanth Ashwin and Rehana. What is it about? Adi (Sumanth Ashwin) believes that boys are looked down by the girls as boys tend to express their feelings first. He asks all of his friends to avoid girls to gain their attention. Then comes Avi (Rehana) who challenges that she would make Adi fall for her and break his own rules. Performances: Sumanth Ashwin suits the character and he is expressive. He is definitely improving as an actor. He tried his hand at action in this film. Rehana is cute. She complemented Sumanth well. Lead pair did their best to make this romantic flick click. There are many young comedians among the star cast. But sadly none of them were utilized to their potential. Viva Harsha and Tagubothu Ramesh had few moments here and there. On the Technical Front: Director Vema Reddy had a nice concept on his mind. He failed to develop that idea into a good film. There are patches of brilliance from the debutante that will not go away unnoticed. Unfortunately they are very less and far apart. Vema Reddy might make a name for himself if he comes up with a strong script. Film is technically sound with colorful cinematography and soothing music. However that isn't enough to make this film an engaging watch. Editing could have been better. Film drags towards the interval and climax. Producers made sure that the film has rich visuals. Analysis: Chakkiligintha starts off on an interesting note with the protagonist expressing his different ideology about girls. However the film is completely based on that idea and never moves ahead. It gets boring after a point Even the conflict between the lead pair isn't strong enough to keep you interested till the end. There are certain elements that may appeal to the youth. Even they will get bored with this wafer thin story going nowhere after the first few minutes. If the director concentrated on entertainment and other engrossing elements Chakkiligintha could have been a better product. The film comes alive only towards the penultimate scenes. We wish there were such touching scenes throughout the film. Chakkiligintha has its moments, but falls flat on a whole. Boring narration, single line story and silly philosophies about youth's mentality doesn't let this film go above the below average mark. An able lead pair with some decent technical values doesn't make this film a decent watch. In one word, it is a 'disappointment' from the debutante director.
